2. PENN STATE: Walsh on the move again

Only seven months after being named Harvard women's coach, Erica Walsh is on the move again.

Walsh has been named the women's head coach at Big Ten powerhouse Penn State following the decision of Paula Wilkins to take the vacant Wisconsin job.

"Becoming the head coach at Penn State is an extremely exciting opportunity for me," said Walsh. "The chance to go back to my home state to join the Nittany Lion family and lead a program with such a strong tradition is something I have dreamed of for a long time."

Walsh, 31, is considered one of the top young coaches with women's soccer. The former William & Mary star was only 24 when she began her three-year tenure as the women's head coach at Dartmouth, compiling a record of 37-15-2 with two Ivy League titles and three NCAA tournament appearances. She has experience at the national team level as the current U-17 girls national team coach and U-19 women's national team assistant at the 2004 Under-19 World Championship.
