ETSU announces first men's class

ETSU men's coach Scott Calabrese announced the signing of 18 players -- including NSCAA All-Americans Sean Hoek (Castle High School, Ind.) and Tom Webster (Bearden High School, Tenn.) -- who form the team's inaugural signing class, the largest non-football signing class in ETSU history.

In the fall, ETSU will embark on its first season of NCAA Division I men's soccer play.

"This class has taken on the challenge and the responsibility of being the first, and providing the foundation of the men's soccer program," Calabrese said. "The ability to be a founding member of a program is something that will stay with this group of players for the rest of their lives."

The 2008 class of signees includes players from Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia and Indiana.
