German national team brings in cash

[TV] The German soccer federation (DFB) has generated revenue of $250 million over the past two years thanks largely to TV income on national team games, which can draw up to 30 million viewers in the nation of 82 million.

Future profits may be threatened by an antitrust investigation on whether the DFB colluded with the Bundesliga on sponsors. A ruling against the DFB could void the lucrative TV deals.
