Will Cristiano Ronaldo really leave Manchester United for Real Madrid? Only days before the Champions League final between United and Chelsea, Ronaldo dropped a bombshell when he told a Madrid-based
television channel that he would not rule out a move to Spain.
Ronaldo has four years left on a five-year contract at Old Trafford that pays him approximately $12 million a year, but
Spanish champion Real Madrid has been repeatedly linked to the Portuguese star. The Spanish media insist Ronaldo is unhappy with his financial situation at United.
"I am happy here but
let's see what happens after the Champions League final," Ronaldo said. "I'm feeling calm here, I'm happy here but in the future I don't know. I have said millions of times that I would love to
play in Spain, but it's one thing to dream and another thing for it to be reality. I don't know the club [Real], but I know they like my game. I know that other teams in Spain like me as well. It's
good to know they like my game, but I am happy here."
