4. WOMEN: Hamilton and Erin Chastain land jobs

Linda Hamilton, a starter on the 1991 U.S. women's world championship team, has been named the head women's coach at NCAA Division I school North Florida.

Hamilton, who serves on U.S. Soccer's Board of Directors, spent last fall as an assistant women's coach at Hofstra  and previously was head coach at Old Dominion in 1994, its first season of varsity play. She was also head coach and director of player development for the Richmond Strikers from 1997-2006.

Erin Chastain, sister-in-law of former U.S. women's star Brandi Chastain, has been named DePaul's women's head coach.

Erin Chastain has spent the last five seasons at Santa Clara as an assistant coach alongside Brandi Chastain and under Brandi's husband, head coach Jerry Smith. During her tenure with the Broncos, the program reached the championship game of the 2002 NCAA Tournament, the semifinals in 2004 and the quarterfinals in 2005. Prior to heading west, Chastain, who played at Minnesota and is married to Brandi's brother Chad, spent three seasons as Northwestern's top assistant coach.
