[MLS] The New England Revolution extended its MLS-high unbeaten streak to seven games on Wednesday when it tied 1-1 at home against the Red Bulls. Despite
losing Jason Hernandez to a red card shortly before halftime, the visiting San Jose Earthquakes held on for a 0-0 tie at Real Salt Lake, where fans booed the
home team.
Called on to move up front after Adam Cristman was injured, veteran midfielder Steve Ralston
converted the tying goal for the Revs -- his fourth goal of the season -- on a knockdown from Kheli Dube.
Seth
Stammler had given the Red Bulls the lead with a goal in the 37th minute.
RSL had a 24-7 edge in shots, but its offensive problems continued. It has scored only one goal in
three games in June.
