The U.S. under-18 girls national team defeated Denmark's U-19 team, 5-0 and 3-0, and England's U-19 team, 2-1, to sweep all three games on its short European tour.
Lydia Hastings, who will play for Maryland in the fall, scored in all three games.
Lauren Alwine, who will play
for Virginia, scored in both games against Denmark, while
Laurie Nosbusch, who is enrolling at Wisconsin, scored, scored in the first and third games.
"This is probably the most versatile team he has had into camp and four players have earned their first caps for U.S. Soccer over the past two games," said U.S. coach Dean Duerst. "Over the
course of time with this group they have developed to be more soccer savvy.
