4. UNDER-21 WOMEN: Irish quartet leads USA in England

Kerri Hanks, Michele Weissenhofer, Amanda Cinalli and Brittany Bock, who combined for 63 goals and 50 assists for NCAA Division I runner-up Notre Dame in 2006, will head the U.S. under-21 women's national team that travels to England on Friday for games against three English clubs.

U.S. coach Bill Irwin is bringing 18 players for matches against Blackburn Ladies on March 13, Everton Ladies on March 14 and Leeds Ladies on March 15.

The U.S. team has plenty of international experience. Nine players on the roster were members of the U.S. team that played at the 2006 U-20 Women's World Championship, where the team finished in fourth place. Hanks played on the U.S. team that won the 2002 U-19 world championship.
