A year ago, Corey Ashe was red-carded in Houston's SuperLiga semifinal against Pachuca, which took advantage and won on penalty kicks. On Tuesday night, when the teams squared off again in the
SuperLiga semis, Ashe entered the game at the 62nd minute and sealed the Dynamo's 2-0 win with a headed goal.

game (Telefutura, 8 pm ET.)
Before the game, Ashe had told some of his teammates that he wanted to make up for his miscue in last year's tournament that put the Dynamo down to nine men.
"I really felt like I let the team down and I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to help the team out tonight," said Ashe. "And tonight would be the night that I wanted to get that
done. We're playing Pachuca, probably the team that is our biggest international rival and this is the semifinals with a chance to go on to the last round."
