[OFF THE POST] Next time you want to get the attention of your favorite soccer player, try a little serenade. Breaking into song allowed 12-year-old Nishok to meet Manchester United midfielder Anderson. The 20-year-old Brazilian was in Singapore's National Stadium with his Olympic teammates as the squad went through the paces during a public training session.

As Anderson began his cool-down, Nishok recited a chant that has been popularized by fans in and out of pubs in England.

The song goes, "Anderson-son-son, he's better than Kleberson. Anderson-son-son, he's a midfield magician. To the left, to the right, to the samba beat all night. He is fast, he is class, and he (expletive) on Fabregas."

When Anderson heard the song, he waved to Nishok before running over and giving away his cleats to the precocious youngster. Later, Anderson invited Nishok onto the field to meet some of his teammates. The two talked for a bit and posed for photographs taken by Brazilian national team coach Dunga.

When asked why he recited the chant, Nishok said simply, "I just felt that he should know that I'm his fan, so I started to sing. The crowd was getting quiet, and I wanted to make it livelier."
