Never before had the Women of Troy advanced past the second round of the NCAA
Tournament. In 2007, however, USC followed up a second-place finish to crosstown rival UCLA in Pac-10 play to earn four straight shutout wins that carried the Trojans to Women's College Cup, where
they beat UCLA, 2-1, and Florida State, 2-0, to win the national championship.
U.S. Olympian Amy
was part of a 2005 USC freshman class considered one of the best ever in the history of women's soccer. She is one of four senior starters for the Women of Troy along with Stacey Strong
, Janesse Currier
and Ashley Nick

In addition, Meagan Holmes
, the defensive anchor who sidelined with a knee injury early in the 2007 season, and starting forward Marihelen Tomer

But USC isn't just its senior class. Also back is Soccer American MVP keeper
