4. YOUTH: Rongen calls in Ferrari for U-20 camp

The U.S. under-20 national team will conduct its first camp since qualifying for this summer's U-20 World Cup in Canada when it trains in Frisco, Texas, from March 22-29.

U-20 head coach Thomas Rongen has invited 16 players in for the camp. Nine players play in Major League Soccer, two play professionally in Europe, four play collegiately and one is a high school senior.

Called up for the first time is Gabriel Ferrari, who recently debuted with Italian Serie A club Sampdoria in a Coppa Italia match. The high schooler is Santa Clara-bound Jalil Anibaba of Davis, Calif.
