U.S. women's stars find new homes

[WPS] The seven Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) teams were allocated their first three players on Tuesday when the league announced the dispersal of U.S. national team players, including the 15 eligible Olympic gold-medalists.

NBA All-Star and WPS part-owner Steve Nash was present for the ceremonies presided over by WPS Commissioner Tonya Antonucci at the Sports Museum of America in downtown Manhattan.

Next week WPS will assign teams the rights to negotiate with four international players. That will be followed by a draft of remaining players in early October and again in January.
