USA opens U-20 Women's World Cup against France

The USA will meet France, Argentina and China in the first round of the Under-20 Women's World Cup that begins Nov. 19 in Chile.

The USA will open against France on Nov. 19 at the Estadio Nelson Oyarzun in Chillan before facing Argentina three days later. The Americans will then Chillan for the Estadio German Becker in Temuco to conclude group play against China.

GROUPS
Group A: Chile, England, New Zealand, Nigeria.
Group B: USA, China, Argentina, France.
Group C: Canada, Japan, Congo DR, Germany.
Group D: Mexico, Norway, Brazil, North Korea.

Many of women's soccer's top players will take a week-long break from the college game to attend an Under-20 Women's World Cup training camp beginning Sunday in Sunrise, Fla.

U.S. coach Tony DiCicco has called 21 players into  an Under-20 Women's World Cup training camp beginning Sunday in Sunrise, Fla.

Those players selected for the finals, beginning Nov. 19 in Chile, will miss the NCAA Tournament.
