Houston Slashes Prices For San Jose Game

Despite postponing its home Concacaf Champions League game against Luis Angel Firpo Tuesday, the Houston Dynamo plans to press on with its MLS game against the San Jose Earthquakes Saturday. Better still, it is slashing ticket prices and letting first responders and kids under 14 in for free.

The team still hasn't received final clearance from the University of Houston to use Robertson Stadium, but "we're confident that we will and that the game will go on," Dynamo vice president Rocky Harris said. Adult tickets will be ten bucks, while "police, firefighters, EMTs and any other first responders also will get in free with proper identification."

All ticket proceeds will go to Houston- and Galveston-area youth soccer organizations affected by the storm, and cash donations will also be accepted at the stadium, with proceeds going to relief efforts in the area.
