The New York Red Bulls have signed a multi-year television rights extension with MSG Network, which has held the television rights to the Red Bulls/MetroStars for the past 12 years. MSG will telecast approximately 20 select Red Bulls games per season as part of this new deal. Whit Haskel has stepped down as senior vice president and general manager of Chivas USA and will be replaced on an interim basis by Chivas USA CEO Javier Leon. For the third straight season, MLS reserve teams will compete for a $20,000 team bonus, awarded to the team that finishes the season at the top of the Reserve Division standings.
