FIRST TEAM
Goalkeeper
Bill Gaudette (Puerto Rico Islanders)
Finished as the league leader in victories with 14 and second behind Montreal's Matt Jordan in goals-against average with a mark of 0.851.

Defenders
Cristian Arrieta (Puerto Rico Islanders)
Helped guide the Islanders to the best defense in the league with only 23 goals allowed. Added a team-leading seven goals and two assists.
Taylor Graham (Seattle Sounders)
Received his third selection as an all-league player (2005 and 2007).
David Hayes (Atlanta Silverbacks)
Earned second straight all-league selection with all-around contribution that included three goals and two assists in 28 games.
Nevio Pizzolitto (Montreal Impact/Canada)
Earned fourth all-league selection in five years (2004, 2005, 2006). His return from an early-season shoulder injury coincided with move from the bottom of the table to third.

Midfielders
Osvaldo Alonso (Charleston Battery/Cuba)
Defector helped lead Charleston to the postseason while finishing fourth on the team in scoring with four goals and two assists.
Stephen deRoux (Minnesota Thunder)
Helped guide the squad to the postseason despite being at the bottom of the table midseason.
Martin Nash (Vancouver Whitecaps/Canada)
Was only Whitecap to play in all 30 games. Earned fourth all-league selection (1996, 2000, 2007).
Jonathan Steele (Puerto Rico Islanders/Northern Ireland)
Played on his third club in three years. Led USL-1 in assists with 11.

Forwards
Alex Afonso (Miami FC/Brazil)
Newcomer made quite an impact for Miami, finishing as the league leader in goals (15) and points (34).
Macoumba Kandji (Atlanta Silverbacks/Senegal)
Finished fourth in goals (11) and tied for third in points (27). Now on loan to MLS's New York Red Bulls,
