Americans fall again in Brazil

The USA fell to 0-2 at the Futsal World Cup  in Brazil when it gave up six unanswered goals and lost to Italy, 6-1.

The Americans, who lost to Paraguay, 5-0, in their first team, scored first on a goal by Andy Rosenband, who had sat out the first game with a suspension.

But within six minutes, the Italians had taken the lead on goals by Adriano Foglia and Sandro Zanetti.

"I can't fault the guys' effort; it was much better than we had in the first game," said U.S. coach Keith Tozer. "We played with passion, heart and did all the things we talked about."

The USA faces Thailand on Saturday.
