Flores Wins 'Sueno MLS'

Anaheim, Calif.'s Jorge Flores was crowned the winner of Sueno MLS on Sunday, as the nationally televised (on Spanish language television, anyway) month-long contest came to an end, resulting in an extended tryout with the Chivas USA U-19 team for the winner.

"I gave my very best during the past five weeks, and now I hope to take full advantage of this opportunity, show my best with the Chivas USA U-19s, and continue improving as a player," said Flores. As part of his accomplishment, the youngster earned a date with the Univision morning show "Despierta America," which was televised nationally earlier Monday.

The new television deal with Univision, the Spanish-language broadcasting giant, will bring MLS games into more Spanish-speaking homes than ever before.
