Midfielder Michael Bradley
was back on the field for Borussia Moenchengladbach and its new coach, Hans Meyer, but Gladbach returned to
its losing ways in midweek Bundesliga action.
Gladbach lost, 3-0, to VfL Wolfsburg on Tuesday. Bradley, who misplayed the ball on a 14th minute scoring chance, was replaced in the 58th
minute by 19-year-old Mark Marin.
It was the second game in charge for Meyer, who took over for Jos Luhukay after Gladbach lost six of its first seven games. Bradley, 21, who joined the
newly promoted club from Dutch club Heerenveen, was used once by Luhukay and once when general manager Christian Ziege served as interim coach before starting the last two games for Meyer -- the
Tuesday loss and a 1-0 win last weekend over Karlsruhe.
Gladbach sits second-to-last with a 2-7-1 win-loss-tie record.
