AC Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has said that David Beckham's New Year fling in the northern Italian fashion capital will be a dream come true for the club. No doubt the city's
high-end retailers are celebrating too.
"David's arrival is a dream that becomes a reality," Galliani said. But sadly Milan will have to wake up from that dream after a
couple of months because the L.A. Galaxy "want him to remain in Los Angeles and he is happy there. Moreover, he has many advertising contracts." More than you can wave a linesman's flag
at, Mr. Galliani.
Beckham's future temporary teammate Ronaldinho doesn't sound like he's dreaming, but at least he's on-message. "I am happy that Beckham is
arriving," said the Brazilian, who was once spurned by Real Madrid when the club opted for Beckham's more photogenically aligned teeth instead. "I hope he will help us. He has so much
quality." Meanwhile, you may want to see the pictorial reader submissions at The
envisioning how things may shape up for the Number 23 in the city whose unofficial motto reads: Style Over Substance.
