When players from German Third Division club Dynamo Dresden hit their practice field on Monday, a day after losing their game against Paderborn, 3-0, they
found 11 grave-shaped holes with wooden crosses. Dresden general manager Ralf Minge
said the team's fans had gone too far this time.
"I have absolutely nothing against fans
displaying frustration about the poor performance and result," said Minge after Dresden's third straight home loss, "but this is crossing the line and we won't tolerate it. And now we have a damaged
practice field, which isn't going to help in any way as we prepare for our next game."
