The U.S. under-17 national team split in the first two games during its eight-day training camp in France. The U-17s beat the Bretigny U-18 team, 2-0, and then lost to France's U-17 national team at
the French national training center in Clairefontaine.
The Americans got goals from
John Agudelo and
Dustin
Corea in the win over the Bretigny team.
Benjamin Jeannot and
Christopher Missilou scored for France in its
2-0 win. Also in the lineup was 16-year-old
Terence Makengo, who recently became the youngest player to sign a pro contract with Monaco.
The Americans' last game is against Paris St. Germain's U-18
team Saturday in Clairefontaine.
