9. YOUTH: U-16 girls assemble at Sunrise camp

The U.S. under-16 national team began a week-long training camp on Saturday in Sunrise, Fla.

brought 24 players into the camp as he continues to form a pool from which he will choose a team that will attempt to qualify for the 2008 U-17 Women's World Cup, to be held late next year in New Zealand.

The roster consists of 21 '91s and three '92s -- defenders Mia Bruno and Megan Oyster and midfielder Alex Crown.
