US Youth Soccer's girls ODP program will send combination U-14/U-15 regional teams to their first international tournament April 9-18 in San Jose, Cost Rica.
The four regional team will
compete against U-20 national teams from Costa Rica, Panama, Chile and Mexico. They are preparing for CONCACAF qualifying for the 2008 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Chile. REGION I
is dominated by New Yorkers, eight in all. They are led by forward Rachel Nuzzolese
, who played on the U.S.
U-15 girls national team last fall. REGION II
