Villa Meets Moscow, Liege To Play Braga In UEFA Cup

Aston Villa, the team of U.S. goalkeepers Brad Friedel and Brad Guzan, will meet CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Cup round of 32. Standard Liege and Oguchi Onyewu, provided he hasn't moved to Marseille in the transfer window, take on Braga of Portugal. Marseille plays FC Twente of the Netherlands, the club coached by former England manager Steve McClaren.

Series of the round pits Italian giant AC Milan against Germany's Werder Bremen, eliminated from the Champions league, but one of eight third-place teams from the CL group phase that gains belated entry to the UEFA Cup. Other good-looking series include Valencia against Dynamo Kiev, holder Zenit St. Petersburg against Stuttgart, and Bordeaux against Galatasaray.
