Cerritos College's
Corina Villegas, a two-time NSCAA/adidas All-America, heads this year's winners of NSCAA/adidas Junior College Player of the Year.
Villegas led her team to its second consecutive California state title and earned tournament MVP honors this year, concluding her career with 53 goals.
Junior College Division I Men Justin Meram, F, So., Yavapai Meram led his team to a 50-2-0 record, starting
all 52 matches during his two years at Yavapai, including a perfect 26-0-0 record in 2008. He was selected to the NJCAA National All-Tournament Team twice, including Most Valuable Player honors in
2007. He also became the all-time points leader for Yavapai, breaking an 18-year old record and tied the school record for most playoff goals. He accounted for 30 goals and 20 assists for 80 points
this season.
Junior College Division I Women Kaylee
Neutzling, F, Fr., Lewis & Clark (Ill.) Neutzling scored 39 goals and had 17 assists for 95 points while leading Lewis and Clark to a 26-1 record and the NJCAA national title. She
also was selected as the NJCAA's All-Tournament Team and the Offensive Most Valuable Player.
Junior College Division III Men Lee Martins, F, So., Herkimer County Martins captained Herkimer to a 20-3-0 record and the 2008 national championship, the school's seventh. He
scored 24 goals and had 16 assists to rank second in the nation in points at the Division III level. He scored the game-winner in overtime in the national semifinal and assisted on the
game-winner in the final.

So., Cerritos Villegas is a two-time NSCAA/adidas All-America and was selected the Most Valuable Player of the California state tournament while leading Cerritos to its second
consecutive title. After tying the school record with 32 goals her freshman season, Villegas took more of a pass-first approach in 2008 but still managed 21 goals and set the school record with 18
assists.
