Uli Hoeness was not at all amused by
Franck Ribery's attempt to chip Stuttgart goalkeeper Jens Lehmann from the penalty spot during his side's 5-1 road victory in the German FA Cup round of 16 game Tuesday. With Bayern
leading 2-0, Lehmann stood his ground and caught the ball easily. A second Bayern penalty was later converted by
Sebastian Schweinsteiger, while Ribery
commented, "I just wanted to have fun." Which, he ought to know by now, is not a concept familiar to Hoeness.
