Beckham runs wild on right wing [VIDEO]

[ITALY] With assists on two goals in AC Milan's 3-0 win at Lazio on Sunday, David Beckham looks more and more comfortable on the Serie A club's right wing, prompting Coach Carlo Ancelotti to add him to the roster for the upcoming UEFA Champions League series against Werder Bremen.

With two goals and two assists in his last three games, speculation continues to increase that Milan, now only six points behind leader Inter Milan in the Serie A standings, will try to keep Beckham until the end of the season.

According to Beckham spokesperson Simon Oliveira, the England star is registered with Milan until June 30, so there is no need for a deal to be struck by Monday's winter transfer window deadline. Milan and the Galaxy have an agreement that Beckham will return to Los Angeles on March 9.

At Lazio, Beckham set up Pato Alexandre and Massimo Ambrosini for goals with pinpoint crosses, and Pato had another goal off a Beckham cross called off for offside.

"Of course, I've said before I'm happy to be playing here," Beckham said. "It's a great club with great players and now we are in a good position. I'm taking each game as it comes and enjoying it."

Inter Milan was held to a 1-1 tie at home to lowly Torino.

Juventus' shock 3-2 loss to visiting Cagliari dropped it to third place.
