Barcelona is lining up Liverpool's Spanish striker Fernando Torres
as a possible summer replacement for Thierry Henry

President Joan Laporta
met Torres at the recent FIFA World Player gala dinner. "It was an informal chat with Barcelona superstars Leo Messi
also present," writes Christopher Davies
, "but it was seen as an important
meeting as a basis for any future negotiations."
