5. NEW ZEALAND: Oceania champ features four collegians


Four U.S. collegians were members of the New Zealand team that qualified for the 2007 Women's World Cup by sweeping the Oceania qualifying tournament with wins over Tonga (6-1), Solomon Islands (8-0) and Papua New Guinea (7-0).

Ali Riley, Stanford's all-Pac 10 freshman selection, Hayley Moorwood, Tennessee Tech's Hannah Bromley and Coastal Carolina's Emily McColl represented the 20-player team. Moorwood scored in the win over host Papua New Guinea.

New Zealand was the 16th and final team to qualify for China '07, which will take place Sept. 10-30.
