Real Madrid will borrow $90 million from Spain's largest bank Santander to help finance the purchase of Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo
to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.
The station, citing no sources, said the loan will still not be enough to cover the whole fee. "Cristiano Ronaldo already has an agreement with
Manchester to leave for Real at the end of the season for a reasonable sum," the broadcaster claimed.
Spanish media have been reporting for several weeks that Ronaldo, 23, is set
for a move to Real. United, needless to say, denies the reports. Daily newspaper AS continues to report that Ronaldo will join Madrid in the summer for $110 million under a 'secret' deal made
between former Real president Ramon Calderon
