AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti
said Thursday that he will happily turn down the manager's job at Chelsea FC a second time. The London club earlier this week
sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari,
its fourth manager in five years. Guus Hiddink
is interim manager until the end of the
"The only club which has come forward has been Chelsea," said Ancelotti. "In the summer I met [Chelsea owner Roman]
but I didn't want to leave Milan. The same thing is happening now but I am not thinking about leaving."
There has been media speculation that Ancelotti, Serie A's
longest-serving coach who has been at Milan since 2001, could be sacked if his team do not win the Serie A title this season. If Milan loses Sunday's derby to Inter, it will be 11 points behind its
league-leading city rivals. "This stuff also happened seven years ago," Ancelotti said. "At this point of the season the same story always comes up. I am not worried."
