Adrian Castro, president of Costa Rican First Division club, was gunned down Tuesday by gunmen on a motorcycle while driving his car on the Interamericana Norte freeway.

Jorge Rojas, the director of Costa Rica's investigative department, said the killing may have been ordered to settle a dispute.
