Arsenal's Eduardo Awaits Injury Apology

While Arsenal's Eduardo has overcome a broken leg and dislocated ankle from a year ago and made a triumphant return with a pair of goals in a 4-0 FA Cup over Cardiff City, it's clear that the Brazilian forward (who plays for Croatia) has yet to get closure from the collateral damage caused by Birmingham City's Martin Taylor.

"Some friends told me he was saying he'd spoken to me - but he never did. I've never met him," Eduardo told The Sun, still awaiting any kind of apology from the man responsible. "I've had around 25,000 emails - from Croatia, Brazil and England - wishing me a speedy recovery and I've had letters by the sackfull, but he's never sent anything directly to me."

According to sources, Taylor says he tried to visit Eduardo in the hospital but was turned away by team staff.

"I did not see the tackle coming," said Eduardo, of the red-card offense. "So there was no way I could ride the challenge because I was not expecting it. When I was tackled I heard a crack."
