More Support For Scolari; Chelsea Chastised

Joining a growing choir of EPL peers in support of recently sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari, Bolton Wanderers coach Gary Megson took his turn Wednesday to state "it didn't need changing at Chelsea." Quick to point out that Scolari's time with the team was reduced to "two or three results that didn't go their way," he had just one word to describe the ousting: "ridiculous."

"After kamikaze pilot I would guess football manager has about the same sort of job security - there is nothing you can do about it," added Megson, just a day after ManU's Alex Ferguson said he was "shocked" at Scolari's abrupt sacking, and that the team's "haste is a reflection of the sad way the game is going."

Megson went on to call out team owners for their impatience in allowing new coaches and new systems to produce favorable results, naming Chelsea owner Roman Ambramovich as one of the worst offenders, having brought in four different coaches in the last 18 months.
