I'm sure there have been less important protests in the world, but perhaps not many. According to the Daily Mail, groups of Russian fans have taken to the streets of Moscow in recent days to
oppose Guus Hiddink
's double duty as Chelsea coach in fears that it will adversely affect his main role as director of the Russia National Team.

"are convinced that his work in London is going to make it impossible for Hiddink to manage the Russian team effectively."
Despite Hiddink's recent assurance that he will not remain at
Chelsea for the 2009-10 season and rather will return to Russia both in March and then for good in May, fans are still riled at the Russian soccer federation for "letting themselves be pushed
around by this oligarch" and hurting "the interests of our national team, which is unacceptable."
