Bayern Munich 'Wobbling' Way Through Bundesliga

With three losses in their last four matches, their top striker out injured, and a defense that has already given up more goals in the 2008-09 campaign than all of last season, Bayern Munich's future is looking a bit barren heading into Wednesday's Champions League match at Sporting Lisbon.

With Sunday's 2-1 loss to Cologne, the defending champs find themselves fourth behind the 3H club - current leaders Hamburger SV, Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin - and have so far in 21 games conceded 30 goals, nine more than in all of the 2007-08 season.

The current state of affairs has led German newspaper Bild to declare that "Klinsi Is Wobbling," according to the AP, but Coach Klinsmann responded by saying, "Criticism only serves to make me more ambitious. It's in my nature that when things go badly I work harder."
