[OFF THE POST] A Chinese company that sells a Viagra-like male potency drug pirated
David Beckham's image for a commercial in which a fake voiceover attributed
to the England star claims he has used the pills.
The company used footage of Beckham talking about something else and dubbed in a concocted endorsement of the USA Selikon
anti-impotence drug, which is produced by a Beijing-based company.
"Want to know how I can keep being strong and running on the soccer field?" says the fake Beckham voice. "USA Selikon
capsules help me a lot. It's also the secret weapon with which I can satisfy Victoria."
Other stars exploited by the USA Selikon, taking advantage of China's lax copyright laws, in the
same commercial are actors
Sean Connery and
Keanu Reeves.
Connery voice-over includes, "I just turned 70. With the help of USA Selikon capsules, I'm forever 25."
Connery is actually 78 years old.
