ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC. The Swedish striker scored both goals in Serie A leader Inter Milan's 2-0 win over Fiorentina improved his goal tally to 17 league goals, leaving him only two behind Bologna's Marco DiVaio.

FILIPPO INZAGHI.  The 35-year-old Italian striker scored twice twice to give him 300 career goals in AC Milan's 5-1 Serie A win at Siena. The goals give him five in his last two games after being little used since scoring both goals when Milan won its seventh European Cup by beating Liverpool, 2-1, in 2007.

LYON. The seven-time French champion lost its fourth straight game when it fell at home to Auxerre, 2-0, on Sunday. The loss, OL's first of the season at home, left it just one point ahead of Paris St. Germain and Marseille.

MICHAEL ESSIEN. The Ghanaian star returned to Chelsea's midfield for its 1-0 Premier League victory over Manchester City and looked fit following his return from a cruciate knee ligament injury that had sidelined him since August.

BOJAN KRKIC. The 18-year-old striker, who has taken a backseat this season to Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry, scored his first two league goals of the season in a rare start to give Barcelona a 2-0 win at Almeria that kept it six points ahead of Real Madrid.

MIROSLAV KLOSE. The Bayern Munich striker could be lost for the remainder of the Bundesliga season after rupturing a tendon in his right ankle while turning his ankle on a bumpy field at Bochum Saturday in Bayern's 3-0 win.

DECO. The Portuguese playmaker could miss the rest of Chelsea's season after aggravating a hamstring injury in the Blues' win over Manchester City on Sunday.
