Chelsea, Inter, Club America and AC Milan USA-bound

World powers from three different countries will come together in the USA this summer for the first "World Football Challenge," which will see England's Chelsea, Italy's AC Milan and Inter Milan, and Mexico's Club America face off in the six-city round robin tournament set for July 19-26.

The four-team competition will take place predominantly on both coasts, starting with matches at Stanford Stadium (Palo Alto, Calif.) and the Rose Bowl (Pasadena, Calif.) in the West, then the Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Ga.), MT&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore, Md.) and Gillette Stadium (Foxborough, Mass.) in the East before finishing up at the new Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, Texas) on July 26. Tickets for all six matches go on sale March 30.

The tournament, which will serve as preseason trips for the teams but promise to include full rosters with marquee names, is being organized and operated by CAA Sports, a special division of the leading entertainment agency Creative Artists Agency, with all six matches to be televised on ESPN or ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN360.com.
