Lopez endured an up-and-down first season, helping to lead the Wizards to the 2008 playoffs after a shaky start, and agreed to return for only $180,000 -- down from the DP salary of $720,000 in 2008. "In the beginning, it's hard to adjust, simply because of not knowing the language," Lopez added. "But I had the help of a lot of good people here in Kansas City."
