Crew will finally win?

[MLS PREDICTIONS] Defending champ Columbus aims for its first win of the season when it hosts undefeated Chicago. New England defends an undefeated record in Salt Lake. Los Angeles, the only other winless team besides the Crew, hopes to break the futility run in Colorado. SATURDAY
COLUMBUS (0-2-3) vs. CHICAGO (2-0-3), 7 pm ET, Fox Soccer Channel
The Fire wants revenge for losing the Eastern Conference final at Crew Stadium last year. Since revenge is a dish best served cold, and passions are still pretty hot, that will have to wait. Thus the winless Crew will be winless no more.
Prediction: Crew 2, Fire 1.

REAL SALT LAKE (2-2-0) vs. NEW ENGLAND (2-0-2), 9 pm ET, Direct Kick
The tough, courageous Revs are missing too many players to do much more than pack it in. That doesn't mean they can't win, but RSL isn't likely to start slowly as it has the past few games and that pressure should pay off.
Prediction: RSL 1, Revs 0.

COLORADO (2-2-1) vs. LOS ANGELES (0-1-3),  9:30 pm ET, Direct Kick
The Galaxy have yet to figure things out, the Rapids have a system and play it well. Since MLS does not incorporate style points into its results, the smart pick is the team that knows what it's doing.
Prediction: Rapids 3, Galaxy 1

CHIVAS USA (4-1-1) vs. FC DALLAS (1-3-1) 10:30 pm ET, Direct Kick
Fresh off its first win of the season, FCD may find the best team in the league jet-lagged from two cross-country trips in the past few days and its first loss. Energy levels may decide the outcome.
Prediction: Chivas USA 0, FCD 0

SEATTLE (3-2-0) vs. SAN JOSE (1-2-2) 10:30 pm ET, Direct Kick
The Quakes won a preseason matchup in a meeting of the two most recent expansion additions. This time around, the newcomers look stronger and eager to atone at home for losing the last time they played there.
Prediction: Sounders 3, Quakes 1.

SUNDAY
NEW YORK (1-3-2) vs. D.C. UNITED (1-1-3) 3 pm ET, Telefutura
With a combined two wins in 11 games, these teams don't much inspire. In its last visit to the Meadowlands, United suffered a 4-1 thrashing. Time for a turnaround.
Prediction: Red Bulls 1, United 2.

TORONTO FC (2-2-2) vs. KANSAS CITY (3-2-1) 5 pm ET, Direct Kick
TFC didn't dazzle anyone Wednesday while handing Chivas USA its first loss of the season but gritting out a win against a good opponent can do wonders for a team's confidence. Still, the Wizards have pace, an element that on a fast surface can be treacherous.
Prediction: TFC 2, Wizards 1

REVIEW
Last night: Kansas City 1, New York 0 (Prediction: 3-2).
The anticipated goalfest didn't materialize but the home team won, as forecast, and the bottom line is that at the end of the day it's all about (the right) results.
