Guadalajara and San Luis, the two Mexican clubs still alive in the Libertadores Cup, have had the first legs of their second-round series
postponed because of the H1N1 flu while the search for venues continues.
Chivas is to play Sao Paulo of Brazil, and San Luis will face Nacional of Uruguay, but efforts to move their
home games, first to Colombia and then to Chile, fell through.
Guadalajara defender Hector Reynoso
was suspended for a yet-to-be-determined
duration from all matches in the Libertadores Cup after he spit and blew his nose at Everton player Sebastian Penco
, then told him he had swine flu following
last week's game in Chile.
Reynoso later apologized for the incident.
Guadalajara players complained that before the game Chileans made fun of them when they went to
a shopping center in Vina del Mar and that during the game, which ended 1-1, Everton players taunted them with remarks about swine flu.
