[U.S. UNDER-23 WOMEN] The U.S. under-23 women's national team will face Ireland's women's national team on Wednesday in Dublin and Northern Ireland's women's national team in Belfast on Wednesday.

U-23 coach Bill Irwin, a native of Northern Ireland, took 18 collegians to Belfast, where they will be based.

Two players were part of the U.S. team that won the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Chile last December: center back Lauren Fowlkes and midfielder Keelin Winters.

Winters is one of three U-23 players from the University of Portland, where Irwin is the men's head coach. He took two players each from Texas A&M, UCLA, Santa Clara and Stanford.

This is the U-23s' second trip to Europe this year. They defeated Norway and England U-23 teams in Spain in February.
