Bradley should remain in Bundesliga

[AMERICANS ABROAD] It looks like U.S. national team midfielder Michael Bradley will be staying in the German Bundesliga.

He played the entire 90 minutes in Borussia Moenchengladbach's 1-0 win at Energie Cottbus that moved it into 14th place, two spots and three points out of the relegation zone with two games to go.

Gladbach needed a goal from Dante in stoppage time to beat Cottbus, which faces probable relegation.

Meanwhile, fellow U.S. midfielder Maurice Edu also went 90 minutes for Rangers, whose 1-1 tie at Hibernian may have cost it the Scottish Premier League title. Celtic moved back into a tie with Rangers at the top of the Scottish standings -- and has the edge on goal difference (by two goals) with two games to play.

Former Boston College teammates Alejandro Bedoya and Charlie Davies both scored in the Swedish Cup on Wednesday.

Bedoya scored for Orebro in a 3-0 win over Halmstad. Davies' goal came in a losing effort as Hammarby fell to Mjallby, 4-2.
