Taylor leaves Oregon State for D2 Stanislaus

Dana Taylor, Oregon State men's head coach for the last 10 years, has resigned his post to take the same position at Division II Cal State Stanislaus.

Under Taylor, the Beavers reached the NCAA Tournament for the first times (2002-03) in school history. He compiled a 79-98-14 record in 10 seasons with the Beavers.

Among the players he produced were MLS players Ryan Findley, Alan Gordon and Ryan Johnson.

Taylor replaces Ahmad Tousi, the former Iranian national team coach who was named Stanislaus coach last year.

Stanislaus was 4-12-1 overall and 3-11 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in 2008.
