Dana Taylor, Oregon State men's head coach for the last 10 years, has resigned his post to take the same position at Division II Cal State Stanislaus.
Under Taylor, the Beavers reached the NCAA Tournament for the first times (2002-03) in school history. He compiled a 79-98-14 record in 10 seasons with the Beavers.
Among the
players he produced were MLS players
Ryan Findley,
Alan Gordon and
Ryan
Johnson.
Taylor replaces Ahmad Tousi, the former Iranian national team coach who was named Stanislaus coach last year.
Stanislaus was 4-12-1 overall and 3-11 in the
California Collegiate Athletic Association in 2008.
