The defending national champion Colorado Rush Nike is headed to the U-19 girls finals at next month's U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships after beating Avalanche Premier, 3-0, on
Emmalie Pfankuch's hat trick in the first 17 minutes at the Region IV Championships.
The So Cal Blues were the only multiple winner in the Region IV
championships, taking the U-15 and U-16 finals. They lost to Cal North teams Pleasanton Rage and Mustang Blast in the U-18 and U-14 finals, respectively.
The regional winners earned
berths to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships July 21-26 at Citizens Bank Fields in Lancaster, Mass.
