Live Grenade Found Outside Dalglish Home

Bomb disposal experts removed a live hand grenade from the garden wall outside the home of former Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish.
Simon Lewis Ignacio, 28,
of Lee Park Avenue, Belle Vale, and Carl Higgins, 29, of Helston Green, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. They are due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 6
August. Dalglish has recently returned to work at Anfield to take up a senior role at Liverpool's youth academy.
A police spokesman said the discovery of the hand grenade was not connected to
Dalglish. Nobody was injured in the incident and it is not known if anybody was at the Dalglish home at the time.
